Hello, my name is Emily and I am so glad you are here! I am a licensed pediatric speech therapist and private practice owner of The Garden Speech Therapy in Knoxville, TN. I provide specialized diagnostic and treatment services for stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech, and speech sound disorders. I know that engaging in therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable experience for clients (with high pay-offs!). Therefore, I’ve created a therapy environment that communicates calm, kindness, challenge, focus, and growth. I am especially passionate about listening and being flexible so that I'm able to adapt to each child’s/family’s needs. My mission is for clients to feel engaged and valued in each of our interactions. I channel my expertise, intentionality, and passion into providing specialized care that will help my clients flourish.
