As a healer, I know that I am not doing the healing

I know that the healing is only ever happening through God/Creator/Source

But, from my experience there is a big difference in logically ‘knowing’ this truth & actually showing up in this truth

What I mean by this is, for a long time as a healer, no matter how much I knew I had to give the work to God…

I still, without even meaning to, would try to take the healing into my own hands

In the beginning, this can be common and unintentional

However, if after a while we don’t fully surrender to the work of the higher power

We build habits of feeling like we are the only one in charge of the healing
In charge of creating results for our clients
In charge of our own individual success

The result of this is our healing sessions stop giving results
The self healing work we are doing stops working
The business we have built slows down or comes to a stalemate

Here’s something deeper… I don’t believe this ONLY happens to healers

I believe any mentor of any niche will experience this frustrating experience if they have built a habit of thinking their success and the success of their clients is ALL ON THEM

Does it feel like you are doing the work, but still struggling to get where you want to be?

I spent most of my life thinking I was broken

I thought my mind had been damaged in the packaging process

& I had no way of returning it or fixing it

I use to have a bad habit of planning for worst case scenario

Noticing why my life experiences were tearing me down instead of building me up

The stress created from thinking this way was beginning to take a toll

My body was starting to shut down— my heart was beating irregularly & my energy levels were crashing

Thankfully, I received a message from something bigger than me, loud & clear

I had a choice to let my daughter watch me die from a lack of self care

Or make a real change so I can heal, be better, & truly live an example my daughter could be proud of

I chose to heal & in my journey to achieve these changes, I found exactly what I was looking for along the way

Things are going well… what’s going to ruin it this time?

Money would be flowing in at work, only to anticipate a lack of money flow around the corner

My romantic relationships would be going well only for me to create suspicion on how it would be messed up

I later began to wonder if the act of me fearing the downfall was creating it

I didn’t realize this act of self sabotage was a survival tactic

I created these walls to prevent failure, embarrassment, & loss

However, it was the walls that inevitably caused my greatest fears to manifest

I found ways to see my self sabotaging behaviors for what they really were

I learned to see the positive intentions they had for me

I practiced reassuring my fears

Showing them how creating new, healthy ways of thinking & behaving—

Would actually keep me safer

I learned to appreciate & connect with my fears so we could work together

This helped me overcome obstacles & push through uncomfortable feelings

Which finally lead to results I wanted to achieve in all areas of my life
