West Ridge Specialty Care is a skilled nursing and long-term care community providing compassionate, individualized care for our residents, while also caring for their family's well-being and peace of mind. We serve residents from Marion County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities. Welcome to West Ridge Specialty Care

West Ridge Specialty Care in Knoxville is the epitome of the ideal skilled nursing facility with state-of-the-art rehabilitation, warm and inviting living quarters and staffed by highly-trained professionals who are dedicated to providing the best care around.

West Ridge features wall-to-wall carpeting in the hallways which makes for a much more homelike setting. Wide open, airy rooms bring in sunlight from the front veranda and courtyard. Private dining areas are open to families and encourages private visits to celebrate special moments. The occasional full-facility gathering such as our family potluck during the holidays or ice cream social in the summer brings in everybody’s family including many of our regular volunteers.

While many of our residents are temporary, making use of our Rehab to Home therapy program, for others this will become their true home and we welcome them with open arms. Daily activities such as bingo, horseshoes, card games and relaxing in the courtyard or planting flowers offers a little something for everyone’s interest. Getting involved in the community by hosting the annual Easter egg hunt, and participating in the Homecoming parade.
