While many are gathered around trees and tables, our crews are honored to be ready—day and night—to serve our East Tennessee communities. Christmas looks a little different for those on the flight line, but the mission remains the same: showing up when it matters most.

We are grateful for our pilots, nurses, paramedics, dispatchers, mechanics, and our ground EMS and hospital partners who work alongside us—especially during the holidays. Your dedication, teamwork, and heart for this region never go unnoticed.

Our little helicopter elf is back on duty — eyes on the sky and ears on the radio. 📻👀

Between weather checks and routine traffic calls, the crew has been listening closely… just in case we hear, “Santa One requesting clearance from the North Pole” 🎅

While Santa makes his rounds, our flight crews remain ready — monitoring conditions, watching the horizon, and standing by to answer the call whenever help is needed.

From late-night radio checks to early-morning launches, the mission never pauses — even on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

From all of us at UT LIFESTAR, we’re wishing Santa safe skies, smooth landings, and a very jolly night.

High above the Smoky Mountains, tucked between headsets and helmets, lives a very special little elf. By day, he keeps watch from the skids. By night, he makes sure the rotors are polished, the cabin is cozy, and the crew is ready for whatever call comes next. 🚁🧝‍♂️

Our UT LIFESTAR Elf doesn’t just spread Christmas cheer — he reminds us of the magic in teamwork, service, and caring for our community, even during the busiest season of the year. ❤️
