21 half marathons later and somehow I just ran a new PR.

Saturday at the I Want to Be a Unicorn 13.1:
🏃‍♀️ 8th overall
🥉 3rd female overall

Proof that consistent training, strength work, and proper fueling can keep pushing the needle forward.

Still riding the runner’s high from this one.

Not every door is meant for you to force open.

Peace comes when you stop trying to control the narrative and start controlling your effort, your energy, and your mindset.

February = the meat of marathon training. 🥩🏃🏽‍♀️

The phase where the excitement fades and the real work begins.
Higher mileage than ever.
Half marathon effort.
Kilometer repeats.
Long runs with tempo finishes.

Not starting a single workout at 100% — and that’s exactly the point.

This month wasn’t about feeling fresh.
It was about expanding the engine.
Building aerobic power.
Learning how to run fast on tired legs.

If my bed feels like a five-star resort and I’m dreaming in splits and gel flavors… I know I’m doing it right.

February didn’t just make me faster.
It made me harder to break.

The miles I’m banking now are the ones I’ll cash in at mile 20.
