Our amazing and talented Lifestyle Director hosted a Thanksgiving centerpiece arrangement class this week — and it was such a hit! We had a wonderful time learning about balance, color, and creative inspiration. And would you believe every beautiful masterpiece began with the inspiration of a simple napkin? Truly incredible! These centerpieces will be proudly displayed at our Thanksgiving meal, bringing a personal touch to our celebration. Thank you to everyone who joined us! 🍁

Last Friday, we hosted our annual Holiday Craft Fair & Market — and what a wonderful turnout! We had a great variety of vendors, excited shoppers, and a warm holiday spirit throughout the community. Thank you to all of our residents and vendors who came out and made the event such a success. We appreciate you!

This week at Coffee Talk we announced a special new project: We will be creating personal memoirs to capture stories and memories to pass down for generations. We’re excited to begin this meaningful journey together.

Our very first Chess Club class kicked off this week, and what a great start! Residents began learning the basics, picking up new strategies, and having a lot of fun along the way. We’re excited to see skills grow, friendships form, and many friendly competitions in the weeks ahead.

A big thank you to the Clowns of Tellico Village for bringing their colorful costumes, big smiles, and lighthearted fun to our community! Our residents laughed, clapped, and truly enjoyed every minute of the show. Moments like these remind us that joy is the best medicine — and we’re so grateful to share it here at Sherrill Hills! 💛✨

This morning our community gathered in the Theater to honor the brave men and women who served our nation. At 11:11 AM, we paused for a solemn moment of silence, then lifted our voices with the Smokey Land Sound Barbershop Chorus—a group with proud roots back to the 1950s and a special connection to our community through member Walter Law. Their renditions of “God Bless America,” “This Is My Country,” and “Shenandoah” filled the room with gratitude and pride. 🎵

To our veterans: thank you—for your courage, sacrifice, and service. We are honored to celebrate you today and every day. 🎖️

Our wonderful Sherrill Hills Gardening Club has officially closed up the planter boxes for winter! 🍁💧 Thank you to everyone who helped tend, water, and bring beauty to our community throughout the year.
