The inaugural Merrill P. White, MD Scholarship recipients graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology with Surgical Technology certifications — and are now launching their careers right here at TOA Surgery Center.

The new TOA Surgery Center is coming soon to change the way Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance East Tennessee provides outpatient orthopedic care.

At our August 12th Open House, guests toured our 36,000-square-foot facility featuring 12 advanced operating rooms, explored state-of-the-art surgical technology, and enjoyed food and beverages.

This milestone marks the first TOA Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tennessee… built to deliver expert care, innovative technology, and better outcomes for our patients.

Surgeries begin October 2025, and we look forward to welcoming patients into this new chapter of orthopedic care.
