River Valley Health's roots are planted firmly in Tennessee. Since 1960, we have served the health care needs of our neighbors. Our philosophy is simple, we believe the best approach to wellness involves treating both the body and mind. That's why we offer an array of comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, and prevention programs and services. Whether you need medical, dental, behavioral health or optometry care, our compassionate, dedicated staff is here to help you. With 20 clinics across numerous Tennessee counties, RVH's services are never far away. We offer convenient hours and have providers on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. We accept most insurance and TennCare plans and offer flexible payment schedules because we do not think money should ever stand in the way of your health care. This week, River Valley Health was proud to partner with the University of Tennessee for a fun and inspiring Health Career Summit for local high school students!

The event gave students the opportunity to explore career paths in healthcare through inspiring speakers, interactive learning stations and a little friendly trivia competition.

We’re honored to help spark curiosity and support the next generation of healthcare professionals!

Last month, River Valley Health was in Raleigh, North Carolina, where current and former team members attended the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) Annual Conference.

As part of our ongoing “Where in the World is River Valley Health?” series, we’re proud to highlight our participation in this national event focused on team-based, whole-person healthcare that integrates both physical and behavioral health.

As a founding member of CFHA, our CEO, Dr. Parinda Khatri, co-led a session on exemplary integrated practice. One of the most rewarding parts of CFHA each year is reconnecting with former psychology interns and seeing how they’ve built on their RVH training to promote collaborative care across the country.

No matter where we go, River Valley Health is committed to advancing integrated, compassionate care.

Helping kids recognize and manage emotions is one of the best treats you can give them this season.

As you head out for trick-or-treating, remember:
- It’s okay if your child feels shy at new doors.
- It’s okay to take a break if crowds feel scary.
- It’s okay to say no to more candy or houses.

If you’ve noticed your child struggling with anxiety, mood or behavior changes, our behavioral health team in Lenoir City is here to help.

Appointments are available - call 865-986-8082 or visit www.rvh.org to schedule.
