Restored Life/Wabash Recovery would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the 3rd Platoon of the Kokomo Fire Department for their rapid, professional, and compassionate response to the fire at Wabash Recovery this weekend. Thanks to their prompt action, everyone was safely evacuated, and a majority of the property was preserved. We greatly appreciate the dedication, bravery, and service to our community. They are true heroes. Thank you for your service, KFD!

Restored Life/Wabash Recovery would like to extend its gratitude to the community for its outpouring of support during this time of crisis. We are incredibly thankful for all the donations we have received so far and for those who continue to offer items and aid. As we continue meeting the needs of those we serve, we are still accepting new men's underwear and socks, as well as any other men's clothing, used or new, and hygiene products. All donations can be dropped off at the main office at 302 S. Reed Rd., Kokomo, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

We want to give a staff shout-out to Bradley Morgan, one of our peer recovery coaches.

“Brad is an amazing support and a great example of what a peer support professional should be! He spreads his compassionate support to not only clients and teammates but to so many others out there struggling. Not only does he focus on his full-time job, he also runs his non-profit to recognize and help others that help people in our community. He pours so much of himself out daily and is an outstanding example of rising above. We would not know what to do without his peace and blessings.”

Thank you Brad for all that you do and for caring so much about others. Go, Brad!

Once you graduate from the residential program here at Wabash, you can go into our outpatient services. You can also do only outpatient services through our parent company, Restored Life Continuum of Care, where there are many programs to fit your needs. One of the people you might get to work with is Kristen.

Kristen is one of our outpatient service providers and started with our company in September of 2024. She became a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor - Associate in April of 2024. Kristen decided to go into the addictions field because she is also in recovery and has a clean date of 1/24/21. Go, Kristen! Kristen went to Texas Tech University and now does IOP, OP, and individual therapy with Restored Life. When asked what she would like people to know, she said, “This is a safe place. A family for those who want and need help. Don’t give up hope.”

We’re glad to have Kristen and appreciate all of her hard work.

An employee spotlight and success story for your day!

Ashley came to our women’s sober living program in August of 2022. She had been incarcerated and didn’t want to go back home because she knew that wasn’t the best situation for her sobriety. Ashley graduated the program in November of 2022 and became a house tech. During June the next year, she got off of house arrest and then became the Women’s Housing Manager in August. October rolled around and she got her own place and also began working as residential coordinator in our men’s program, which she did for eight months. In March of 2024, she completed probation. As of January this year, Ashley is now the Director of Women’s Housing! Ashley is an incredible person. She has gone through the program and worked hard to earn her awesome position. We are so proud of Ashley and all that she has accomplished and we are glad to have her on our team.

“Your past doesn’t define who you can become.” -Ashley E.
