Hello, My name is Mikah.
In the spring of 2022, my life changed forever.
One of my best friends — my grandmother — suffered a brain bleed that left her mentally and physically disabled. Overnight, she went from fiercely independent to needing round-the-clock care. After months in a nursing facility, what we witnessed was devastating. Due to chronic understaffing and preventable negligence, she suffered infections that worsened her condition. Before that, there was hope she might return close to the woman we knew. After that, that hope faded.
I made the decision to step away from everything familiar and become her caregiver — without any formal healthcare background. I learned by doing. I learned by failing. I learned by showing up every day when there was no backup, no relief, and no safety net.
I learned patience.
I learned compassion.
I learned how deeply dignity, consistency, and trust matter — not just to the person receiving care, but to the families who love them.
Nearly four years later, this journey has shaped every part of who I am. It has been exhausting, humbling, painful, and profoundly meaningful. Along the way, I witnessed what too many families experience but few talk about — systems stretched too thin, caregivers overworked and unsupported, and families left wondering if anyone would actually show up when it mattered most.
Caring for others is not easy work. It is not a shift. It is not a checklist. It is a commitment.
Too often, families are left asking:
• Will someone show up today?
• What happens when a caregiver calls in?
• Who do we turn to when the system fails us?
That uncertainty is something no family should ever have to carry.
That is why I founded Covenant Care Company.
Covenant Care Company provides reliable, compassionate, non-medical personal home care — including personal care, companionship, daily living support, and hands-on assistance — for individuals who deserve to remain safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own homes.
But more than that, we provide peace of mind.
We are built on structure, accountability, and people who care deeply about the responsibility they carry. Our caregivers are supported, our coverage is intentional, and our promises are not empty words.
Here is our covenant to you:
• You will not be left without care
• Coverage will always be available — period
• We will always have on-call support
• Our office team will step in hands-on when needed
• We will communicate honestly and consistently
• We will show up when others don’t
This is more than a service.
It is a promise.
It is a commitment.
It is a covenant.
Covenant Care Company was built from lived experience — not corporate shortcuts. We understand what it means to trust someone with the person you love most, because we have lived that reality ourselves.
At Covenant Care, we believe exceptional care begins with the people entrusted to provide it. That is why we invest heavily in thorough, hands-on training, ongoing education, and clear standards that equip our caregivers to serve with confidence, competence, and compassion. We foster a culture that values accountability, support, and meaningful incentives that keep our team engaged, motivated, and proud of the work they do. Most importantly, we stand by an unwavering promise: no matter the circumstance, we will do everything in our power to ensure your loved one receives the care they deserve. When challenges arise, we do not disappear — we problem-solve, we show up, and we follow through.
We are currently finalizing regulatory and payer approvals and expect to begin serving our community in early 2026.
If you or someone you love may need care — or if you simply want to learn more — we would love to connect.
