Living life with intention creates opportunities for fulfillment.

Through the lens of Ayurveda, we begin to see that our struggles are not flaws, but signals. The tiredness, the fog, the restlessness, the feeling of being out of sync— it’s the body and mind calling for balance.

Ayurveda teaches that everything within us is connected to everything around us. The shifting seasons, the food we eat, the sleep we get, the thoughts we hold. It all plays a part of shaping our state of being. When we learn to listen, we begin to understand our natural rhythms and what brings us peace and contentment.

It’s a remembering that we are part of nature, not separate from it. A slowing down, long enough to notice what our body truly needs, and finding purpose through alignment, instead of resistance of natural flow.

Ayurveda is a lifestyle practice of self-study, or svadhyaya. It’s not a quick fix, but a sacred map, teaching a way of living that honors your individuality and the cycles of life.

This class invites you to checkin during the holidays to pause, breathe, and reconnect with gratitude through the balancing practices of pranayama and yoga nidra. We’ll begin with mindful breathwork to quiet the nervous system and prepare the body for deep rest, then ease into a guided yoga nidra— an effortless meditation where the body relaxes and the mind remains gently aware.

Student testimonies shows that yoga nidra supports measurable physiological and psychological benefits. The practice can also reduce cortisol levels, improve sleep quality, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Regular practice has been linked to improved mood, reduced anxiety, and increased ability to focus and remain present.

A 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is not just about learning to teach — it’s about refining who we are as individuals so that we can support others. It invites a deep inward look, asking you to question beliefs and patterns about yourself, how you move through each day, and how you show up in the world. Stepping into the role of teacher carries a responsibility — to lead from authenticity, to listen deeply, and to hold space with integrity.

Our training will provide you with the foundational skills to lead classes through a classical yoga lens, and prepare you for the facilitation of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga practices. You’ll also receive ongoing support as you root into your own teaching path — learning to embody presence, intuition, and grace. Students are extended yoga membership for classes, and teaching opportunities upon certification.

Join us on Monday, November 3rd from 6-9pm for a free class to sample the essence of training. Connect with your why for training, and hear from two of our trainers as they share what called them to this path, and why they feel so deeply connected to guiding and cultivating a meaningful experience for aspiring teachers here at Oasis. Attendees receive a $300 tuition discount for the January training.

We are so excited to finally share this work with you of years in the making.

At Oasis, our intention is to help others find and share peace, connection and practices of holistic wellness that utilize tools of mindfulness and presence, seen through the lens of Ayurveda and yoga.

Between the Mat is a series designed to bring you back into rhythm with nature and the quiet wisdom that lives within your body and mind.

When we live in sync with the natural world — waking, eating, and resting in harmony with the seasons — the body softens into balance. Energy steadies. Clarity returns.

Rooted in Yoga and Ayurveda, Between the Mat is offered in partnership with wellness, Ayurvedic, and yoga practitioners throughout the Treasure Valley.

This heartfelt series is a collective of offerings that share timeless, applicable knowledge — ways to extend your yoga practice into the spaces between the mat for intentions of improved wellbeing. A return to what already knows how to heal.

Yoga Teacher Training is more than learning to lead a class. It is a sacred, deep dive inward. This evening might be your next step into a journey of self-discovery, reflection, and growth, because during our January training program, you will have the opportunity to explore not just postures and alignment, but the deeper currents of your mind, heart, and spirit, that can guide how you move through life.

On Monday, November 3rd Hilary and Allie invite you in for an evening that will bring you insight to see if YTT is a right next step for you. We will begin with our Release to Sound, a yin yoga class with 15 minutes of soothing sound bowls, and led by Nicole. Following, we will move into a journal prompt themed around connecting with your “why” for pursuing yoga teacher training.

Prospective students will then hear from the leading teachers with backgrounds in Hatha, Yin, and Yoga Nidra, as well as advanced Ayurvedic and pranayama training, to gain perspective on what the Oasis Yoga Teacher Training program has to offer.

This is a space to pause, reflect, and feel what it means to step fully into your potential. Whether you are drawn to deepen your personal practice, share yoga with others, or begin the unraveling of embedded patterns for a deeper connection to self, this evening is your invitation to begin that inward journey.

Attendees receive $300 of the YTT tuition. Participation in the Release to Sound class is also included; separate registration is not needed.
