Good Friday reflections… ✝️

Grateful for grace, for family, and for this beautiful life.

Sometimes the simplest moments remind us of what matters most. 🌅

🌼What are you grateful for this Easter weekend?

💜 Sometimes the life you end up loving…
isn’t the one you planned.

Retiring early after 32 years in the classroom wasn’t easy…
but it led us here, to Idaho, closer to our kids and grandbabies… and that alone made it worth it. ❤️

And somewhere along the way, life started to feel different.

✨️Slower mornings
✨️More time outside
✨️Afternoons (midweek) on the golf course
✨️And a rhythm of life I truly love in this season

I also found something I didn’t expect…
a way to build a wellness business alongside other women who want to stay healthy, active, and create something meaningful of their own.

🌺That part has been really special.

Because it’s not just about what I’m doing…
it’s who I’m doing it with.

✨ If you’re in this season too and have been thinking there might be something more for you… I’d love to connect. 💜

🌷Spring has a way of reminding me…

Things don’t stay stuck forever.

Seasons change.
Life softens.
Even when it feels slow… something is still growing.

And right on time, here it is. 🌸

💜 This is the kind of simple, everyday perspective I’ve been sharing in my newsletter lately… little reminders, small shifts, and what’s actually working in this season of life.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, come join me. 🌿 I'll drop the link in the comments.

✏️After 32 years as a teacher, one thing stuck with me:

The basics matter. 📚

Lately, so many conversations with friends about feeling tired or foggy come back to this:
✨ Water
✨ Protein
✨ Regular meals

Simple… but powerful. 💥

We’re always looking for the next big solution, when sometimes it’s just going back to what we know works.

That’s the kind of real-life wellness I share in my newsletter, Notes From Brenda. 🤍

I'll drop the link to join in the comments if you'd like to take a look. ⬇️

✨️I’ve learned that gut health affects so much more than digestion.

Energy, cravings, mood, better sleep, and overall wellness can all connect back to the gut and microbiome.🫶

Supporting my gut has become one of the simplest habits in my daily routine, and I love saying goodbye to bloating & hello to more energy!

😍Anyone else noticing how much better everything feels when your gut is happy?

If you’re curious about the daily gut health drink I love 💜, comment GUT and I’ll share it with you.

❤️ One of the best parts of retirement?

Weekday adventures.

Today we drove the Thousand Springs Scenic Byway and it did not disappoint.

Stopping to read the history of the places we've never explored before.

Waterfalls pouring out of canyon walls along the way and the grand finale, Shoshone Falls!

🤩 Fun fact... at 212 feet tall and 900 feet wide, it is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the US, surpassing the height of the famous Niagara Falls!

Retirement isn't about slowing down... it's about finally having time to enjoy the simple things.
The freedom to explore, stay active, and feel good in this season of life is something I'm incredibly grateful for.

The best part of though? Doing life's adventures with Dennis. ❤️

Tell me... what's your favorite day trip? We are always looking for new places to explore! 🚙

Somewhere in my 50s, I realized energy wasn’t about trying harder... it was about supporting my cells better. What if you...

Somewhere in my 50s, I realized energy wasn’t about trying harder... it was about supporting my cells better.

What if your body could make its own energy better? ⚡️

This Wellness Wednesday conversation breaks down:
✨️ Why fatigue isn’t “just aging”
✨️ What happens inside our cells over time
✨️ And why activating Glutathione, NAD,
and healthy mitochondria matters

Before you spend money on another quick fix… listen to this. 💥

It’s one of the clearest explanations I’ve heard.

Comment ENERGY and I’ll send you the link to the podcast recording. 🧬

We’ve all had our moments... chasing the next “quick fix.”😅

What finally made sense to me?
Supporting my body where so much health begins.

In. The. Gut.

✨ P84: supports digestion, gut barrier health, microbiome diversity, and the body’s natural detox processes.

✨ Protandim Nrf2: activates the body’s own antioxidant response to help reduce oxidative stress at the cellular level.

▶️One supports the gut.
▶️One supports cellular protection.
▶️Together = a healthier edge from the inside out.

💥Less bloating.
💥More steady energy.
💥Better overall balance.

Sometimes the fix isn’t adding more… it’s activating what your body was designed to do all along.

I would love to share what’s finally working for me! DM me or comment “GUT” if you want the details.

For women over 50, health can start to feel confusing.

🔶️ Hormones change.
🔶️ Energy dips.
🔶️ Sleep gets lighter.
🔶️ Skin doesn’t bounce back the same way.

And suddenly there are hundreds of “solutions” aimed at midlife women.

I got tired of guessing what actually works.

What makes sense to me is focusing on what I've learned over the past 10 years... cellular health and Activation, and supporting my body’s natural ability to function well as I age.

Over time, that’s meant:

✨ more energy during the day
😴 sleeping better at night
💪 feeling stronger in my workouts
✨ healthier, glowing skin

▶️ Not a quick fix.
▶️ Not a trend.
▶️ Just simple, consistent support for healthy aging.

💥If you’re over 50 and ready to stop guessing and start feeling better, comment ACTIVATE and I’ll share what I use.

Turns out retirement didn’t change me…
It just upgraded my vocabulary. 😎

Even if you think you know me, there’s always more to the story. 😉

Retirement looks a little different around here. Still teaching, just in a different classroom, and continuing to build something meaningful in this season of life.
