Tai chi is shown by medical studies to improve most health conditions. Dr Lam’s* team has incorporated medical research and traditional Chinese medicine into the ancient art of Tai Chi to create an effective program. It can prevent or improve most heart conditions, as well as improve balance, immunity and relaxation.
Our classes taught by certified instructors of the Tai Chi for Health Institute* combine slow, flowing movements with mindful breathing to:
❤️Help Improve Circulation
❤️Reduce Stress
❤️Enhance Balance
❤️Support Overall Heart Health
Don't be shy! Classes are low-impact, relaxing, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels! We have participants in their 30s thru 70s! Come give it a try!
⏰Session begins February 17th, every Tuesday and Thursday through March 12th at 1:00-1:50pm
👕Attire: Wear loose comfortable clothes, wear socks or go barefoot (or shoes specifically for martial arts/tai chi practice). Class will take place on a matted surface.
*The Tai Chi for Health Institute was founded by Dr. Paul Lam, an Australian family physician and Tai Chi expert.
