JACOBSON FUNERAL HOME HOSTS ANNUAL HOLIDAY REMEMBRANCE OPEN HOUSE
Jacobson Funeral Home warmly invites the community to its Annual Holiday Remembrance Open House on Thursday, December 18th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This special event provides a comforting space to remember loved ones who have passed while offering support and fellowship during the holiday season.
The gathering begins at noon with food and fellowship, followed by a meaningful program at 1:00 p.m., featuring a special message from Reverend Julie Belew and a touching candle ceremony in memory of those no longer with us.
As part of this heartfelt tradition, families will receive a personalized dove ornament bearing the name and dates of their loved one. These ornaments will first be placed upon the remembrance tree during the ceremony and then presented to each family to take home. The ornaments are available free of charge to all in the community wishing to honor someone special.
This year, Jacobson Funeral Home also encourages attendees to support Bayside Village through either the annual Christmas donation drive or by participating in the nursing home’s Giving Tree. Community members may visit Bayside Village to pick a tag from the tree, each containing a personalized gift request from a resident. Gifts will be delivered to residents on Christmas morning, ensuring that each person is remembered in a personal and meaningful way.
Manager, Susan Jacobs shared, “This event is about love, memory, and community. We hope it brings comfort to families and encourages all of us to share kindness with others, especially the residents at Bayside Village who look forward to these gifts every year.”
