The halls were filled with holiday cheer thanks to our friends from Christ the King Church!


A few of our residents who attend the church helped welcome the group as they played the piano and led a wonderful Christmas carol sing-along.

We always treasure these visits from our community—your music and smiles mean so much to everyone here at The Inn!

Earlier this month, we had a wonderful time at the Holiday at the Top of the Hill event at the Skagit County History Museum right here in La Conner! 🎄 The museum was filled with festive cheer, vintage ornaments, and unique vendors offering all kinds of holiday treasures.

It was such a lovely way to spend the day—browsing, laughing, and soaking up the spirit of the season together.

Our second Christmas lights adventure was a glowing success! ✨ Last weekend, we visited Purple Robe Lavender Farm for their beautiful Lavender in Lights display. It was a magical evening filled with laughter, warm cocoa, and plenty of holiday spirit.

We’re thrilled to share that our residents are returning home to La Conner Retirement Inn tomorrow! After a precautionary evacuation to our sister community, The Village Senior Living in Tacoma, due to flood risks in Skagit County, it’s now safe for everyone to return.

We can’t say enough about the teamwork, care, and kindness shown by our residents, staff, and sister community during this time. Thank you to everyone who supported us and helped make this transition so smooth. There truly is no place like home.

Due to the recent flooding in Skagit County, our residents have temporarily relocated either to their families' homes or to our sister community, The Village Senior Living in Tacoma.

While we’re saddened to see them leave home for a time, we’re deeply grateful to our friends at The Village for welcoming our residents with open arms and ensuring everyone remains safe and comfortable.

Everyone is in good spirits, surrounded by caring team members and new friends. We look forward to returning to La Conner as soon as it’s safe to do so and thank everyone for their kindness, patience, and support during this time.
