Our resident spotlight shines on Erlene! Erlene grew up in Yakima. When she left her senior year of high school, she knew she would be back. After graduating from high school, Erlene began working at the Seattle telephone company, then at Boeing, but her fondest memory is as a secretary for Ebeneezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens. She and her husband (after his military service) enjoyed antiquing trips to Canada. Erlene enjoyed about 10 years back in Yakima. Her heart carries love and memories of her husband and two children, and she is thankful to be close to her remaining daughter, living here in La Conner. So glad you’re here, Erlene!

Nothing brings out the smiles quite like our annual Turkey Bowling event! The staff showed off their skills (and their aim), with the top four winners each earning a turkey to take home. The “bowling turkey” went to our lowest scorer. Everyone shared plenty of laughs, and the residents had such fun cheering us on. Comment below if you’ve ever tried a silly Thanksgiving game like this one!
