Team Alli

Team Alli Alli is an adult non-verbal social butterfly with Autism, who is active within the Special Needs community & attends other events regularly.

The purpose of this page is to share those experiences with the people who love her & introduce her to others. Allison is on the ASD spectrum. She is non-verbal and does require 24/7 personal support care. She works with a variety of women of all different ages, who are all working toward a common goal - Allison's Happiness & a Better Quality of Life. Although she does always have a staff member by her side, she is incredibly independent in many ways. She helps out with daily living skills and chores and is so proud of herself when she receives praise for completing a task. We are always encouraging her to try new things. Allison loves loud music of all genres and dancing to it, but a few of her favorites are Scotty McCreary, Russel Dickerson & 5 Seconds of Summer. She enjoys being out in the community so she can meet and interact with new people. She is incredibly social and loves to "people watch". She especially loves attending LaCrosse Special Olympics/Recreation Events and Parties! It's so neat to see her with all of her peers and witness the pure joy that emits from her. It truly is a heart-melting experience, as a staff member, to be with her during those events. The possibilities are truly endless with Alli because she is typically down for any sort of new adventure. The more time you spend with her, she really becomes more of a friend or family than a client.
