Yesterday, Alli celebrated Christmas with her peers and staff during her Day Services program with Catholic Charities. We decided to go all out in the spirit of Christmas - red & green outfit, Christmas tree🎄earrings, Christmas themed ponies in her hair, and a little sparkly blush to top it all off. Guessing she was a pretty popular gal with all the treats she brought to share at the party... 😉

Alli and her dad, Patrick Holleran were able to thaw out from the 25 below zero temps 🥶 from the day before, and attend the Special Rec Holiday Party 🎄on Sunday. It was a Nice turn out considering how cold it was. Alli participated in a 🎁 gift exchange with her friends and received a Burts Bees lip kit. 🐝 They laughed, they ate, played games and spread the holiday cheer!

Any of you who have been following our Team Alli page have had the pleasure of "meeting" Traci Hagen She is a dedicated Support Care Staff member who has been with us since the early days. Traci's commitment to Alli persists even after she pursued her degree and started her career with Sparta School District. A recent post about Traci perfectly describes her spirit and just who she is as a person. We could not have said it any better and this is the reason why we are sharing it. We hope that you take time to read it and that this insight helps you understand why we are reaching out and asking you to support her in her time of need.

She’s the friend who shows up even when she’s hurting… the friend who keeps loving even when you haven’t always been your best. And now, as her husband Trevor is fighting for his life, we have watched her try to carry a weight no one should have to carry, seen her break, seen her be strong, and seen her be terrified to ask for help… even though she’s the first to help everyone else.

It’s tiiiimmmeeee. Just like that with thanksgiving gone we decided to start to get into the Christmas spirt with some hot cocoa and painting some ornaments before a cozy Christmas movie. What an amazing way to spend a cold and snowy day.

Happy Birthday Hannah! We are still getting to know you as it has only been a few months that you have been with us, but what I have personally witnessed is a woman who is unafraid to jump in and try anything. I don't think failing is ever a thought for you. You seem to have an endless pursuit of growth and bettering the world around you. Please don't ever change. You are a perfect addition to our team and Alli adores you. We are wishing you a year filled with joy & accomplishments!

It was a beautiful fall day for a UW LaCrosse Football Victory. I had the opportunity to watch my nephew play in the last home game with Lacrosse Special Rec. Afterwards, We took a spooky walk through the woods at the West Salem school forest and met up with friends 🏈🏆🎃🪾🍂🍁
