I'm happy to announce- I'm back, and I'm ready to help with all of your aches and pains! I've missed being away from work, but I made good use of my time by finishing up some of the remodel projects around the office. I can't wait for you to see it.
I've also come up with a game plan for reopening with the safety of both client and therapist in mind.
After reaching out to doctors, nurses, and EMT's for advice on how to reopen as safely as possible, here are the enhanced practices I have put in place:
Thoroughly wiping down all service rooms and tools with approved hospital-grade or EPA-registered disinfectants and cleaning and disinfecting common areas at a minimum of once every hour.
Pre-service employee and client health checks including temperature check.
I will be wearing an N95 mask during your session.
Molekule air purifiers will be running at all times in my treatment room as well as in the lobby area.
UV-C light for sterilizing the treatment room.
All linens are single service use.
New table barrier for each client use.
Service providers wearing gloves during services upon client request.
I will also need your help in keeping us all safe as well.
The lobby is a shared space with another therapist and her clients; therefore, until further notice we have decided to welcome clients who can observe the following procedures:
Please wear a mask when you enter the building (or we will provide one for you), to keep the shared lobby space as safe as possible.
Upon arrival, we are asking all clients to immediately wash your hands then meet me at my door.
I will sq**rt some liquid gold in your hands- also known as hand sanitizer.
You are encouraged, but not required, to wear a mask during your massage.
Please put your mask back on before exiting the treatment room into the lobby.
I understand that these new procedures can be annoying to some, but I'm asking for your patience and understanding. As business owners, we are challenged to adapt our practices and safely navigate in uncharted territory in order to deliver the best possible experience for everyone who comes through our doors until we return to some kind of normalcy. Let me know if you have any questions.
