Researcher Spotlight 🔬
Kristopher Lofgren, Ph.D., joined the oncology research team in 2016 and has spent his time understanding the behavior of cells, helping find potential weaknesses to target with therapeutics.

Your support of Steppin' Out in Pink - Gundersen Medical Foundation is crucial to Dr. Lofgren's work. He says, "A significant portion of the funding that initially created my position was provided by Steppin’ Out in Pink (SOIP), so the fact that I can do any research at all is entirely thanks to SOIP donors of the past. I also draw great strength from the moral support provided by such a strong community. Lab hours can get long at times, but it helps to know I’ve got a crowd behind me cheering me on."
