Hello to all my wonderful friends and clients! I've missed seeing you all very much! I want to announce that I'm going to slowly resume seeing clients beginning in early June. I am taking every precaution I can to ensure that your health and safety are my first priority.
Here is what I am doing to protect my clients and myself:
Before and after each massage session, I clean and sanitize all surfaces that may be touched, including door handles, light switches, etc.
I am strictly following a hand washing protocol before and after each session and after touching any sheets, bottles, or any other objects that may have possible contamination, after disinfecting those items.
I have added a HEPA filter for enhanced air purity and circulation to reduce virus particles in the air.
I will be wearing a mask at all times. At this time, I will require you to wear a mask during the massage as well. You will not need to wear the mask while you are facedown; I have an alternate method of containment for that circumstance. Prolonged close contact, such as during a massage, carries increased risk of virus transmission, and the CDC declares that if both parties wear a mask under these circumstances the risk of virus transmission is greatly reduced.
I have updated my intake forms with CoVid-19 screening questions, so I will require everyone to update their intake form prior to receiving a massage again.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you cancel your massage if you feel any symptoms of illness; if you have tested positive for coronavirus, EVEN IF YOU ARE ASYMPTOMATIC, or have been exposed to anyone with coronovirus in the last 14 days, you will be required to reschedule your massage. There will be no charge for even a same-day cancellation of your appointment.
I have a no-contact thermometer that I will be using to check temperatures in the enclosed entryway to my business; you have a temperature greater than 100.4, you will be required to reschedule your massage. This is also where I will supply a mask, if you have not brought your own.
I am not allowing clients to wait in the lobby at this time; please wait in your car until I call or text you to enter the building for your massage.
I have hand sanitizer for your use by the doorway and in the treatment room; please use when you enter and leave the building, and after you sneeze, if you cannot wash your hands directly.
I will be increasing the time between massage sessions to 30 minutes, to accomodate the extra time needed for sanitization.
I am very much looking forward to seeing you again! I hope you and your family have stayed healthy, and I am so happy that I have the chance to improve your health again through the benefits of massage!
See you soon!
