BRRRR! The cold air can trigger a strong urge to urinate. So can running water!

Practice these 3 urge suppression techniques to minimize the urge intensity:
1. sit/stand quietly and practice diaphragmatic breathing
2. perform "quick flick" or 1 second pelvic floor contractions
3 distract yourself!

It's okay to walk slowly to the bathroom to urinate - but only after your urge is less intense.
