Today is Christmas card day, either physical card or digital one, it is great to wish others warm contact, there is no denying that it is nice to send people cards at Christmas and to wish them well for the year ahead. If you don’t usually send Christmas cards, why not make this the year that you finally do?

Today is National Hug Day, many studies have been made to reveal that hugs can be healthy not only for the mental and emotional benefits, but hugging is also a helpful way to promote better physical health.
Of course, this day is just the beginning and can act as a great reminder that hugs are fun and healthy any day of the year!

We are looking for volunteers willing to offer conversation and companionship to our homebound patients. Please contact us so we can give information about how you can bring a bright light to someone's day. This generous gesture would also give caregiver the opportunity to get some rest, run errands, or take a break.

On November 20, 1910, Francisco Madero called for an uprising against President Porfirio Díaz, marking the start of the decade-long revolution. The revolution led to significant reforms, including the 1917 constitution, which established land reform, workers' rights, and universal male suffrage. The revolution was marked by significant battles and uprisings, as well as a quest for social justice that resonated deeply with the Mexican people. It challenged the existing power structures and aimed to create a more equitable society.

Encourage and lead by example that we will create a fair and safe society which allows everyone the opportunity to prosper.

Kindness can change a life. 💛

When Dr. Maya Angelou was a young girl living in Stamps, Arkansas, she met a woman who forever altered the course of her life — Mrs. Bertha Flowers.

As Dr. Angelou wrote in I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings:
“Then I met, or rather got to know, the lady who threw me my first lifeline... She was one of the few gentlewomen I have ever known, and has remained throughout my life the measure of what a human being can be.”

Mrs. Flowers’ kindness helped Dr. Angelou rediscover her voice after years of silence. Her compassion nurtured a love of language that would later inspire millions across the world.
