Two support groups TODAY will offer facilitated space to process the killing of Tyre Nichols by Memphis police officers, and the continued social injustices our Black and Brown neighbor face in this nation. Additional frightening losses, such as the more than 35 mass shootings we've already faced this calendar year, have many of us on edge, feeling uncertain and seeking the support of community.
We invite UC San Diego Campus employees to join today, or access one-on-one discussions or our regularly scheduled support groups throughout the month.

For all Campus employees seeking space to be in community and discuss concerns related to the recent deaths, please join Dr. Bryan McNutt and Dr. Christina Lambert on Zoom today at 12:30 https://uchealth.zoom.us/j/82085018131

For our Campus Black staff seeking community today, join the BSA and FSAP Counselor Dr. Cat Thompson on Zoom at 1:00 PM https://ucsd.zoom.us/j/99088624137

A gentle reminder that we all have a moral obligation to care about what happened Tyre Nichols, but it is not in everyone’s best interest to watch what happened.
Please talk to your children about real issues, and also cautiously guide them in what they are exposed to in media. ❤️
