Congratulations to Michelle Dow!

Congratulations to Michelle Dow, NLM Ph.D. student in the BISB program for an award for the best DBMI Flash Talk presented at the BEx on September 27th. BEx is an annual meeting hosted by the Graduate Bioinformatics Council for the BISB & BMI graduate programs. It features presentations from first-year students on their bootcamp projects, presentations by students about their research, and faculty speakers.

Michelle's Flash Talk focused on a current project involving multi-omic characterization of cancer alterations in mouse models with direct comparison to human tumors in order to evaluate which model provides the most optimal setting for identifying treatments of human disease.

Congratulations Michelle!
