After five years away, I returned to lead KOI on January 1st, and I want to share what that means for you.

Where we’re heading:
We’re doubling down on what makes us different: Root Cause Treatment. That starts with Two Pillars: Gut Health and Bioidentical Hormone Balancing — but it doesn’t end there.

Why Gut Health and Hormones are the foundation: Gut health is personal for me. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s and colitis at 21. I had a full colectomy at 29. Then experienced another 15 years of symptoms I couldn’t shake. Then, functional lab testing and root-cause treatment changed everything.

The FDA has officially removed the “black box” warnings from most hormone therapies for menopause. This includes estrogen and progestogen products. Yesterday, November 10th, the FDA removed the “black box” warning from menopause hormone therapy products. This is a major reset that’s expected to make doctors more comfortable prescribing, and women more comfortable considering, treatment for real symptom relief.

What the change includes
👉 FDA is taking boxed warnings off most menopausal hormone therapies. Labels will be updated to reflect a more accurate risk picture.
