Hospice care is about comfort, support, and helping each day hold as much peace as possible. It is about quality of life for patients and support for the people who care about them. Our hospice team works together to help manage pain and symptoms while also caring for emotional and spiritual needs.

Nurses, CNAs, chaplain support, social work, and volunteers each play an important part in that care. No one should have to face this season alone. We are here to help patients and families feel supported, informed, and cared for.

🛑 STOP SCROLLING — THIS IS URGENT 🛑
We are completely OUT of some medical equipment.
Right now, people in our community need wheelchairs, and basic equipment to stay safe at home—and we don’t have certain equipment left to give.
💔 This means someone may go without the support they need to walk, bathe, or recover safely.
🙏 We need your help TODAY.
We are urgently accepting donations of:
•WHEELCHAIRS•TOILET-SEAT RISERS•KNEE SCOOTERS•COMMODES•AND ANY OTHER GENTLY USED DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
If you have equipment sitting unused, please consider donating immediately. What’s no longer needed in your home could change someone else’s life.
⏰ The need is now. Please don’t wait.

Kind, Compassionate Care

Arkansas Valley Hospice focuses on caring not curing and in most cases, care is provided in the patient’s home. Arkansas Valley Hospice also provides care in nursing homes, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities. Patients are eligible after being certified by a physician as having a life expectancy of 6 months or less, depending on the course of the disease and no longer seeking treatment. Hospice care is covered under Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. Hospice patients and their families will not be billed for any services not covered by insurance.

Arkansas Valley Hospice is the only local non-profit Hospice providing care in the Arkansas Valley. All donations stay in the Arkansas Valley. There is no cost to patients.

Each member of our caring staff and medical team is attentive, highly trained, certified, and insured. We have the following staff members available:
