🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our Villagers! 🍀

Today we celebrated by diving into the history of St. Patrick’s Day and sharing meaningful conversations about the traditions behind it. From learning about Irish culture to enjoying time together, it was a wonderful day filled with connection, laughter, and a little bit of luck! 💚

In honor of National Good Samaritan Day, some of our villagers and staff took to the streets of La Junta to spread a little kindness! We delivered small bags of goodies to local businesses as a thank-you for all they do for our community. 💙
It was such a wonderful way to show our appreciation and share a little joy throughout La Junta!

This week some of our Holbrook House villagers asked if they could learn some new recipes and cook for their fellow villagers — and we made it happen! They prepared a delicious meal of chili rellenos, vermicelli, and beans, working hard together in the kitchen.

The ladies did an amazing job and the meal turned out wonderful. Moments like this truly reflect the heart of our small-house model villagers sharing traditions, cooking together, and creating meaningful moments with one another.

A big thank you to Peggy Sue from our Rehab Department and our Activities Director Destiny for jumping in and showing the villagers their recipes . It was a great day full of teamwork, laughter, and good food!

We are proud to congratulate Clarissa (Interim DON), our January Employee of the Month, and Raquel (VCP), our February Employee of the Month!

Both of these amazing team members consistently demonstrate what true care and compassion look like. Their dedication to our villagers and their support for their teammates never go unnoticed. Being voted on by their peers makes this recognition even more special, as it reflects the respect, admiration, and appreciation they have earned from those they work alongside every day.
