People always assume weight gain is a discipline issue.

Mine wasn’t.

I went into early menopause and gained 55 pounds for the first time in my life. I tried eating less, working out more, and every supplement I could find. Nothing stayed off because my body’s signals had changed.

Once I understood metabolism and supported it properly, everything shifted. Hunger regulated, inflammation calmed, energy came back, and strength returned.

I’ve started intentionally educating and supporting women who are navigating menopause — and here’s what I want you to know:

We do not have to suffer through this chapter.
Exhaustion, weight gain, brain fog, mood changes, loss of joy… those things may be common, but they are not something you just have to accept.

Menopause happens — but how we approach it, support our bodies, and advocate for ourselves makes all the difference.

There are options.
There is support.
And you can feel like you again.

If you’ve ever been told “this is just normal” or “nothing can be done,” please know that’s simply not true. 💛
This season can be one of strength, clarity, and renewed joy — when you’re given the right tools and guidance.

You don’t have to go through it alone.

My outer transformation only tells half the story…

At my heaviest I was 235 pounds. I was teaching longevity and wellness, but def not living it. Working 18 hour days and eating like crap. Running on caffeine, alcohol, and stress. Angry more than I want to admit. In a toxic and awful marriage. Depressed and pretending I was fine.

In full transparency, I flew to Mexico for lap band surgery because I was THAT desperate. I believed shrinking my stomach would fix everything.

It didn’t…

It turned into nine months of complications. In and out of hospitals. My stomach flipped on its own and my body rejected the port they had inserted. Eventually I had everything removed and had to start over.

Failure can be a great teacher. That’s when I began rebuilding my health the right way. I learned on my own. I changed how I ate. I changed how I was living. I dedicated myself to a healthier lifestyle and eventually I lost the weight. I felt proud of what I had achieved.

Then I had two back to back pregnancies and my body went back to square one.

I was older than when I first started. My hormones had changed. My physiology had changed. Everything that worked before wasn’t working anymore. I tried protein, exercise, more discipline, but I couldn’t bounce back no matter how hard I tried.

That’s when GLP-1 and peptides entered my life.

They didn’t replace the work. They supported my physiology in a way nothing else had. My metabolism stabilized. My inflammation came down. My labs improved. Today my bloodwork is better than it was in my early twenties!

And somewhere in the middle of all of this, I left the abusive relationship. I found the courage to step out. To choose peace. To choose myself. And eventually, to build a company around the very tools that helped save me and my health. A company rooted in community and support.
