Journaling can serve as a positive outlet to help slow racing thoughts, give the space needed to notice how you might actually be feeling, and can sometimes help us reconnect to parts of ourselves that we might’ve outgrown or forgotten.
Journaling invites us to slow down and listen to ourselves again.

It can be easy to begin to react during intense moments of feeling, such as anger, fear, worry or frustration. If you’re someone who wants to learn to reflect before reacting, try asking yourself any variation of these of questions.
Pausing during moments of pressure when you usually react first, can literally help rewire your brain 🌠🌌

The Breastmilk Rainbow! 🌈

Breastmilk isn’t always just white 🤱🏼🍼 it can come in a beautiful range of colors, and here’s what they can mean:

White/Blueish: Hydrating, immunity-packed foremilk.
Yellow: Colostrum or rich, fatty hindmilk.
Green: From leafy greens, supplements, or food dyes.
Pink/Red: Tiny bit of blood from cracked ni***es or certain foods.
Orange: Carrot or sweet potato-heavy diets.
Brown: “Rusty pipe syndrome” — old blood early postpartum.

Most color changes are harmless and normal!

Curious about your milk? I’m here for weighted feeds + lactation support! 💕

Our Bipolar Support for Perinatal Moms & Birthing People group is here to help moms and birthing people from pregnancy to 4 years postpartum navigate symptoms of bipolar, like depression (lows) and mania (highs). Our online groups are here to help you connect with others, talk about your experience, and learn about helpful tools and resources. You do not have to have an official diagnosis to attend the group.

These groups are led by PSI-trained support group leaders who have lived experience and/or professional experience. They understand the emotional challenges of pregnancy and postpartum as a mom or birthing person living with bipolar disorder.

You are not alone. We are here to help.

Let’s talk truth for a sec,
🔸Mental illness is NOT a character flaw.
🔸Support shouldn’t be a last resort.
🔸People who need support are more likely to need protection than to cause harm.
Stigma isolates, communication heals.
