Here’s one thing we always recommend to Intended Parents 7th— make sure the agency does not hold your money directly. Your escrow funds should be managed by a licensed, third-party escrow company, like , that specializes in surrogacy or fertility arrangements. This ensures transparency and protection for everyone involved. ☺️

It’s also important to know that your agency shouldn’t be the one writing legal contracts for either party. Independent legal counsel for both the surrogate and intended parents helps keep things fair, ethical, and clearly understood from start to finish.

Choosing the right agency is about more than just finding a match — it’s about finding a team you can truly trust with one of the most meaningful journeys of your life.
