Rosecrance, with whom we are affiliated, is offering a Solutions Summit focusing on Youth that offers Continuing Education Credits. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other professionals working to make a difference for the youth. We were so pleased to be a part of the Rosecrance sponsored Su***de Prevention Training at Illinois Valley Community College last week that offered continuing education credits for those in the mental health industry with licenses that need ongoing education. Tracie Mazzorana, NCBH, Austin Gross, RBH Bus. Development – Central Iowa/Western IL , Liz Miner-McIntyre, RBH Director of Crisis Services – Central IL, Diana Belicke, Bus Development- North Central IL and Luke Durfey, Prevention Team Lead – RCI/Kankakee Base created a full and informative day.

The next training in the series, scheduled for May 7th, Jason Relle, Director of Crisis Services – Northern IL will be presenting “ Not on Our Watch” which will accompany Tracie Mazzorana’s QPR Workshop. Jason will be speaking on, understanding provider roles in suicidality management and demonstrate best practice risk assessment and response skills. In addition to addressing current suicidality trends and language.
