Way to go Key Club President Hope!

Just like flower beds, library shelves need weeding. Youth Services recently finished a many-thousand book weeding project, but with reopening, it was difficult to move the remaining collection and reset the books. Fortunately, Hope Eldridge, student volunteer and an LaSalle-Peru Township High School Cavalier Cord member, offered her time to move literally thousands of books.

The project is now completed. The books are much easier to browse and access, and the new arrangement will allow ample room for growth. Our thanks to Hope. The books look great!

LPHS Key Clubbers can earn up to 5 Key Club service hours during this "break" by doing an act of service for their home, for their family, or to better their community (while maintaining social distancing). This could be cleaning out your family's garage, raking and cleaning up the yard, disinfecting your sibling's toys, etc.

The only condition to acquiring these hours is sharing here on Facebook or whenever we are all together at a meeting. Continue being great kids and please be safe. ❤ La Salle-Peru Athletics & Activities Key Club International
