Ever wondered about the difference between Cupping Therapy and Graston/ Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)? 🤔 Here’s a quick breakdown:
🔵 Cupping Therapy
Cupping uses suction to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues. This helps improve blood flow, decrease muscle tension, and promote healing. It’s especially helpful for tight, sore muscles and areas that feel “stuck.” You may notice temporary circular marks—that’s just increased circulation doing its job!
🔷 Graston/ IASTM
This technique uses specialized stainless-steel instruments to glide along the skin and target restricted tissue. It helps break down scar tissue, improve mobility, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Great for chronic tightness, tendon issues, and old injuries that need extra attention.
✨ Both therapies are designed to reduce pain, improve movement, and help you get back to doing what you love—just in different ways!
