We had a good crowd in the Day Light Lounge for the performance by the Shel-Town Strummers. This is the second time that they have put on a performance for our residents and they do such wonderful job. We look forward to having them return.

We were happy go lucky with our recent happy hour, even cardboard Kevin got in on the shenanigans along with some great live music from Jon and Jim. We would like to congratulate Vonda on being the grand prize raffle winner. Here at Affinity at Lacey, we love hosting these great events and love to see the smiles on everyone's faces and all the fun that is had. Cardboard Kevin will be out again next week as we prepare for our Great Game Show event coming soon on April 25th. This crew will know how to bring the fun and make the most of the event!

Our cardboard Kevin is making the rounds as we prepare for our gameshow event coming up. We hope he might make an appearance at our pre–St. Patrick's happy hour tomorrow. Every resident and or guest who take a picture with Kevin will be entered into a raffle for the event on April 25th. We can't wait to see all the game show selfies keep an eye out for cardboard Kevin around the community; you'll never know where he might be!

Affinity at Lacey had our monthly community pep rally! Cheryl, John and Gail were lucky ticket winners in our raffle this month. The community meets for this rally once a month for fun, kudos and a preview of upcoming events. Our team keeps an open line of communication with our community and are available any time for our amazing residents who share their home with us and the family members that come to enjoy our community.

The Affinity Sliver Strings ukulele group has completed their first session and are sounding wonderful! Rex, who leads the group, presented them with certificates this morning and they will continue meeting every week and we hope they will put on a performance for us soon sharing what they have accomplished.

Keep an eye out for our cardboard Kevin who will be making his debut to promote our awesome Affinity Game Show coming up soon. If you see Kevin around the community in March, take a selfie and send it to us, we will be having a raffle for a great prize during our event. We can't wait for this unique and one that is new for the community and will keep everyone updated. If you are not a resident yet, please don't hesitate to reach out to RSVP for the event in April.

We had a great Valentine celebration at Affinity at Lacey. Great food, the popcorn was popping and our maintenance team was serving up drinks and punch to keep us going for dancing. Music in the daylight lounge brought out residents to do the Cupid Shuffle and the karaoke was a blast in the theater. Much fun had by all of us as we love to take time to celebrate with our Affinity family. Affinity at Lacey knows how embrace the real meaning of community.

Our gardens are starting to see spring around the corner, and some are showing signs of the beautiful that is yet to come. We were happy to have the sun out briefly as a friendly reminder.

As we celebrate the Hawks during the victory parade for the Super Bowl win on Sunday here are a few snapshots from our 12's watching the game. We even had some faithful Packer fans who were great sports and cheered on the Hawks too!

Tailgate Happy Hour before the Big Game on Sunday. Clare was dressed head to toe in her Seattle Seahawks gear. She was wearing her XLVIII WORLD CHAMPIONS shirt, and to top off the look of course she had to have the green hair visor. We can't wait to watch our Hawks!
