Our residents met in the Creative Studio to explore a fun geometric painting technique using masking tape and acrylics at our monthly painting class! Residents played with color, texture, and creative freedom. Resident Beverly even added extra detail after removing her tape for a bold finish, and resident Nancy, usually her own toughest critic, loved her piece so much that it’s going on the wall. That’s a creative win in our book!

We were thrilled to welcome talented artist Elizabeth of FirstLight Home Care of Olympia to teach an art series in our community! This month, residents learned to work with paint and plaster to create beautiful, textured botanical pieces just in time for spring 🌷

Our spring blooms are buzzing with our honeybees! The hive handled the winter well, and we're excited to watch them fly over our blossoming landscape. With the help of our beekeeper, we’re looking forward to collecting our very first honey harvest later this year.

In honor of our concierge, Briana's, birthday, she treated our residents to something special: a crystal class! Residents packed the Creative Studio, excited to learn about the spiritual properties of various crystals and stones. We were touched by her generosity as she passed out goodie bags and macrame necklaces so residents can wear their crystals for healing, protection and positive energy.
