Happy Earth Day from Revel Lacey! In celebration, our residents and team members got outside for a community clean-up before enjoying a lecture from local sociology professor David Hyde about the past, present, and future of environmental policy. The day even came with a tiny surprise guest: a happy little snail we found enjoying this perfectly damp spring day!

Residents ventured on a trip up to Mount Vernon with our Executive Director, Jennifer, behind the wheel! They enjoyed the day at the Roozengaarde Tulip Garden during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Even though it was a rainy and windy day, the group bundled up, and the beauty of the blooms shone through! Everyone came home with gorgeous tulips, brightening our whole community with vivid colors!

At Revel, staying engaged with the local community is a crucial part of promoting our residents' well-being. Recently, we took a trip up to Tacoma to see the 93rd Annual Daffodil Parade and had a blast cheering on the floats and performers! Since many residents had watched this parade growing up, it sparked fond memories of friends and family and inspired everyone to swap their own childhood stories.

Last week we made seasonal, felt bumble bee bookmarks in our weekly craft class! It was tedious to cut and glue the smallest pieces of fabric, but the payoff was worth the struggle! How could these cheerful bees not put a smile on your face? 😊

We love seeing our team members connect with residents through shared passions. Our concierge, Bayley, is also a talented florist who leads seasonal wreath‑making and floral arranging classes for the community. They’re such a hit that we often host two sessions to fit everyone in. Each finished piece looks professionally crafted and beautifully reflects the unique style of its creator!
