Our phone system has been down for the last couple of days; it is a nationwide issue with this company. Sometimes the phones work and we can answer, and sometimes the phones go down again. We apologize if this is causing any troubles or inconveniences!

Attention Hawks Prairie patients, customers, and friends!

The exit 111 overpass will be completely closed/shut down for this entire weekend. The closure starts at 9:00pm Friday July 31st and will reopen 5:00am Monday August 3rd.

I just want to give a shout out to our AMAZING patients and customers. We here at Hawks Prairie Vision Clinic look forward to coming to work each day to treat your eye health. We enjoy our chats and laughs; please don't ever change how great you are! You brighten our days, and we can't thank you enough for that.

Since Covid-19, our world has changed quite a bit. There are a lot of adjustments to be made in our daily lives. There are struggles, emotions, and frustrations. Even through that, we appreciate how easy you all have made it for us with our changes. It seems to me that we all have been working together to make this new world work, and I again thank you for that.

If at any time you have a less than satisfactory interaction with us for any reason, please just talk to us. We are here for you. We care about you. We want the best for you. Just talk to us.

We look forward to seeing your faces each day, and let's all remember to lift each other up when we can! Let's all take a moment in each of our days to uplift someone. All it takes is one positive vibe to change someone's day.

What a whirlwind 2020 has been! We are happy to be back to some form of "normalcy" here at Hawks Prairie Vision Clinic. We hope you all are well, healthy, and safe as well.

Dearest Patients,
First, I would like to thank you all for being so thoughtful and understanding in regards to your appointments getting rescheduled (sometimes more than once).We know how frustrating this all is, so we appreciate your kindness!

Here is our newest office update:
Our office hours starting today, Wednesday April 1st through Friday May 1st will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and we do apologize. If these office hours conflict with needs to pick up glasses or contacts, please email the office manager; taya.hpvc@gmail.com.

We will continuously make phone calls to those that are scheduled for routine exams in April. Please be prepared that most exams will need to be rescheduled to late May or June.

We apologize if this causes any inconvenience for you and your family. Please stay safe and healthy.

Dearest Patients,

As we all know by now, things are rapidly changing with the Covid-19 pandemic. A previous email was sent to you all saying we were still open for business. However, new recommendations have developed. The American Optometric Association (AOA) now suggest that all routine exams be rescheduled. This recommendation does not include medical eye related appointments.

Our office will be contacting all patients that are scheduled for their routine eye exams through April 7th for rescheduling.

If you have an eye related emergency, please call our office.

We apologize if this causes you any inconvenience.

*AWWW moment of the day*

Dr. Aron Piranio (on the right) had a 10 year old patient today whom prefers to see female doctors. However, today she was gushing about how comfortable she felt and how awesome she thought he was! She said Dr. Aron was so nice and the patient's mom agreed that he did such a fantastic job during the eye exam. The 10 year old patient whispered to her mom, "Now I know what I want to be when I grow up."

We aren't just checking your eyesight (and making fabulous glasses), we're changing lives!
