Well sadly the clubhouse has been closed since the beginning of Covid. But on the brighter side we are going to be getting new flooring! Here is step One. Empty the living-room of furniture. It's all in the game room now. And that includes the bookcases. Boy I didn't realize how many books we have!

I love driving through the neighborhood and seeing the beautiful flowers people have planted. Flowers really do make you smile!

As of September we changed our birthday party days from Sundays to Tuesdays. But since it's on a weekday now, we have to have it a bit later in the day so as not to disrupt other activities. Now our Birthday parties will be at 3:00 in the afternoon. Because they are much later in the day we've added cheese, wine and crackers to our party instread of mini candies. It went over really well! I don't know if it's because of the snacks or the wine! We still enjoyed our cake and ice-cream and played our bingo games for my home-made sea-salt dusted chocolate covered peanuts prizes:)

From Oct to June we have potlucks at the clubhouse but in the summer (July, Aug and Sept which is summer in the NW) we have potlucks at the park. Each year in September Jerry and I provide burgers cooked over the charcoal grills and the party goers bring salads and desserts. We had a great time again this year and perfect weather to boot. I would have gotten more pictures of during the picnic and games, but I was busy with the burgers:) I did get shots of our neighbors during our prefunction half hour or so and of our game winners though. We had more participants with the games this year, but I think that the prospect of winning smoked salmon as a prize helped. It was great to see some of our new neighbors come join the party too! We had so many folks come to the picnic we had to bring an extra table and chairs beacuse we only have 11 picnic tables!
