South Sound Behavioral Hospital was honored to be invited to participate in the 6th Annual Health & Wellness Fair at Revel Communities in Lacey, WA on April 29th. Local partners in the health & wellness community came together to offer the seniors who reside at Revel Communities, and thier guests, an opportunity to speak with healthcare experts in the field of senior care. Everything from diet & excercise, to commodoties, health insurance & homecare, to therapies and new senior medical innovations were on-hand. SSBH values it's new IOP partnership with Revel Communities and we look forward to participating in next year's event.

The Adolescent Programs at South Sound Behavioral Hospital are designed to support teens (13-17) who are experiencing depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns that are impacting their day to day life, academics and more. Through compassionate and comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate the individual, their family and all other supporters, teens learn how to re-establish good, stable relationships and a new path to thrive into adulthood. With the support and requests of their community partners, SSBH has expanded their adolescent inpatient unit. With the additional IOP step-down program known as THRIVE, teens have every opportunity for a BRIGHT future!! Come in for an assessment 24/7.

Seasonal depression is real, and learning coping skills will help to provide grace instead of guilt. If you’re feeling it too, you’re not alone. South Sound Behavioral Hospital is pleased to announce a new partnership with REVEL Senior Living Community in Lacey, WA. Revel Community has chosen to offer their residents the choice to participate in the new Monarch 55+ IOP Program offered at SSBH.
Studies show that with proper mental health support, seniors are better able to manage daily tasks, make decisions, and live independently for longer. Behavioral healthcare can aslo provide coping strategies for life transitions such as retirement or loss of a spouse.
