Maren Boothby, MS, CCC-SLP received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of New Hampshire in 1997. After working in skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation settings, Maren found her passion working with children in schools. Maren began collaborating with like-minded colleagues in 2002. Our philosophy of providing custom made work schedules designed to fit each individual therapist's life combined with outstanding compensation for each hour worked has allowed us to recruit and retain the highest caliber of therapists. Our understanding of the needs of special education professionals continues to foster an increasing number of partnerships with schools across New England. This unique partnership between therapists, educators and parents is a powerful team that helps children succeed.

"I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in a SNF for my CF. Upon completion of my CF I made the switch to the school setting. My role in the school setting included working with grades 8-12 for direct therapy services and evaluating district-wide. I enjoy working with older students and incorporating functional life skills such as cooking and vocational skills. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, enjoying time outdoors biking, hiking, camping, and skiing."

Please join us in welcoming Johnna Charlton, Speech-Language Pathologist, to our team! 💙

Johnna completed her clinical fellowship in an outpatient clinic, where she worked with both pediatric and adult populations. Through those experiences, she developed strong clinical interests in supporting students with ASD, medically complex clients, and individuals with speech sound disorders. She is especially passionate about AAC and ensuring everyone has access to communicate their thoughts and ideas.

Outside of work, Johnna enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She’s excited to bring her skills, curiosity, and passion for communication to our team. We’re so glad to have you, Johnna!

Last month, our Bangor managers and providers gathered to celebrate the season and enjoy each other's company. We loved connecting in person and were grateful for those who joined us virtually to share in the celebration from afar.

Welcome to the team, Rachel! 🌟

Rachel has earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an advanced certificate in Early Intervention from Nazareth University. She has completed clinical rotations across the lifespan in both school settings and community clinics. Experiences that have fueled her passion for supporting the pediatric population.

Rachel is especially driven by the relationships she builds with families and the opportunity to support children as they grow. 💙

When she’s not working with students, you’ll find Rachel enjoying music, playing tennis, exploring new places, or spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Welcome to the team, Julia! 🌟

Julia brings an extensive range of experience, from working with newborns to older adults in hospital settings. Her passion for language, cognition, and supporting students in school environments shines through her work. 💙

"I am from New Hampshire and attended UNH for my bachelor's and master's in Speech-Language Pathology. I have been fortunate to have a wide range of experiences with individuals as young as two weeks old to 98 years old and in schools, private practices, university clinic, and a hospital! I have a passion for working with individuals across the lifespan and a particular interest in language and cognition, but have always been drawn to school-aged children since my time working in inner city schools in Southern NH as a before/after school provider. Summer is my favorite season, and I love spending time with family and friends at the beach, lake, and mountains!"
