Boothby Therapy Services provides high-quality related services to school districts across NH. Boothby Therapy Services is a clinician owned company.

Maren Boothby, MS, CCC-SLP received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of New Hampshire in 1997. After working in skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation settings, Maren found her passion working with children in schools. Maren began collaborating with like-minded colleagues in 2002. Our philosophy of providing custom made work schedules designed to fit each individual therapist's life combined with outstanding compensation for each hour worked has allowed us to recruit and retain the highest caliber of therapists. Our understanding of the needs of special education professionals continues to foster an increasing number of partnerships with schools across New England. This unique partnership between therapists, educators and parents is a powerful team that helps children succeed.

Rita joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. She brings over 10 years of experience in education and a strong passion for supporting children in their communication growth and daily success. 💙

Welcome to the team, Rose Ellinger! 🌟

Rose joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist, bringing 10 years of experience supporting complex communicators in school settings. For the past 7 years, she has worked closely with Deaf+ students and has a strong passion for AAC, especially helping students develop self-advocacy skills and use their voices with confidence. 💙

Outside of work, Rose enjoys exploring her new home in Maine with her husband and son.

New addition to the Lisbon, ME playground! 🌟

Lisbon’s playground got even more inclusive this year! These brand-new communication boards have been installed and are ready to support all kids in connecting, playing, and expressing themselves!

A huge thank-you to BTS SLP Marian for leading the charge on bringing these boards to the community. Your advocacy and dedication help make play spaces more accessible and empowering for every child. 💙

Welcome to the team, Tanya Thibeau! 🌟

Tanya joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist with an incredible depth of experience across early childhood, K–12 settings, and leadership roles in special education. She has served as an SLP in birth-to-five and school-based settings, as well as an IEP Coordinator and Special Education Director.

Now, Tanya is excited to return to direct SLP work and to mentor Clinical Fellows as they begin their careers. 💙

Outside of work, she enjoys life with her husband and three children, who keep her busy, active, and happy.

Helen joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow. She recently graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with her MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders.⁠

During graduate school, Helen developed a passion for AAC and for working with younger learners, especially preschool-age students. Throughout her clinical placements, she gained hands-on experience supporting children with diverse communication needs and is excited to bring that dedication to BTS and to students across Maine. 💙⁠

Outside of work, Helen enjoys hiking, sailing, and spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and boyfriend.⁠

Welcome to the team, Molly Warmbein! 🌟

Molly joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Service Delivery Manager, bringing nine years of clinical experience supporting students from preschool through high school. For the past five years, her work has focused on preschool settings, where she has developed a strong clinical specialty in AAC.

Molly is deeply passionate about AAC and has extensive hands-on experience across the lifespan. She is equally committed to advocacy and to educating families, school teams, and future clinicians. She has even taught AAC at the master’s level, helping prepare the next generation of SLPs. 💙

Molly and her husband (also an SLP!) relocated to New Hampshire in 2023 to be closer to family. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her helping with home renovation projects, baking with her two daughters, or volunteering in her local school community.

We are so excited to have Molly’s experience, leadership, and heart on the BTS team! ✨

Celebrating a Powerful ASHA 2025 Moment 🌟

We’re thrilled to celebrate Amy Bereiter, our Boothby SDM & AAC Specialist, who co-presented last week at the annual ASHA Convention alongside LJ Seiff.

Their session, “The Future Starts Now: AAC User Perspectives on Facilitating AAC Communicative Competence,” highlighted the voices, experiences, and expertise of AAC users themselves. Their perspective continues to shape the future of communication support in meaningful ways.

Aiko joins Boothby Therapy Services as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow. She recently earned her MS-SLP from Boston University and brings experience across research, education, and clinical practice.

Aiko shared that she especially enjoys pediatric diagnostics, where each child presents a unique “puzzle” of strengths and growth areas, and supporting them through that journey is her favorite part of the work. 💙🧩

Outside of school, Aiko loves running with her partner, cross-stitching, and spending time with her two cats.
