Raw Fitness is about helping people understand their bodies both physically and mentally by changing the way they think about fitness. Our members are exposed to corrective movement, individually designed progressions, empowerment through education, and a support network that is designed to help members improve and reach their specific goals without discouragement or discomfort. Raw Fitness will offer a variety of classes with the option of one-on-one personal training. Our classes and training will incorporate and target joint movement, cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and form in a professional relaxed atmosphere with certified instructors. Our personal programs are designed to move you through all planes and joint movements, build strength, increase cardio and flexibility. We provide an unsurpassed training experience with qualified instructors and offer a variety of exercise programs and techniques to help give a full-body workout for any fitness level with the use of progressive teaching methods in a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere. Personal training focuses on understanding an individual’s goals, movements, strengths, challenges and health concerns. We take a genuine approach to each person by understanding what lifestyle goals they have. Each member will go through a thorough a functional movement screening and health assessment before starting a program. This service in free and allows the trainer to identify the member’s current fitness level and set safe attainable goals. Our ultimate goal for our personal training and fitness programs is creating a lifestyle of wellness, longevity and improving or adding to your quality of life or fitness goals.

The argument for and against stretching can go both ways, but at Raw Fitness, we recognize the value it brings. We use stretching not only to help our clients cool down, but also as a tool for gathering important information. During our stretching routines, trainers are able to observe joint movement and muscle flexibility, which helps reveal any imbalances. This allows us to identify corrective exercises and resistance training techniques that can be incorporated into each client’s individualized program.

Hey Local Friends! The outside of our Raw Fitness building along with many other businesses in the downtown area were vandalized last night. Three young men went around the streets spray painting disgusting words and images. Racial slurs and profanity are now displayed outside our entry way, which is also the entry to a local dance study for children.

Raw Fitness along with other businesses in the downtown area, are looking for your help. If you recognize any of the individuals on the next slides or have insight into who they might be, please reach out and contact the Laconia police department.

The business owners in downtown Laconia work incredibly hard to provide residents with high quality services, shops and restaurants. As you can imagine this type of event is quite upsetting and impactful to businesses. Hopefully as a community, we can find these individuals. Please share and spread the word!
