All four of our hospitals have Blessing Boxes on their campuses, often stocked with shelf-stable food donations from our own teammates. 🥫

As a Lowcountry mom and a nurse with 20 years of experience, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital Chief Nursing Officer Tavia Buck shares why our new Children’s Unit — and our partnership with MUSC Children’s Health — is so special.

The nurses caring for our youngest patients bring more than 140 years of combined pediatric experience, and together with MUSC Children’s Health pediatric hospitalists and child life experts, they’ll deliver the safest, highest-quality care.

Today, we celebrated a major milestone for families in our community with a ribbon cutting for our new Children’s Unit at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital.

Opening soon, this collaborative unit with will bring high-quality, compassionate pediatric care with 16 private rooms, a dedicated playroom and the expertise of MUSC pediatric physicians and Roper St. Francis Healthcare nurses.

We’re immensely proud of the work we’ve done together to bring this vision to life.
