Watercrest took our holiday celebration on the road! Our Memory Care residents headed to the Lady Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for a special night out. They spent an evening taking in the annual light display and enjoying the views. 🎄✨🚗

Merry Christmas from our Watercrest Spanish Springs family. 🎄

We have had such a busy month enjoying the season. It was so much fun having Santa and Mrs. Claus visit, and we loved our trip to the new Eastport town center for some holiday shopping.

But some of the sweetest moments were right here at home. Listening to the carolers from Villages Elementary in Lady Lake, enjoying the Festival of Wreaths, which supports Wreaths Across America, put us all in the holiday spirit. We hope you are enjoying a beautiful day with your favorite people. 🎅❤️

A big thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for taking the time to visit with our Memory Care residents! After their visit, they spread the joy to our Assisted Living residents as well. 🎅❤️

They found our residents wherever they were to spread Christmas cheer. Whether in the gym, their apartments, or throughout the community, no one was left out!

Our annual Festival of Wreaths silent auction was a huge success! 🎁🎄

We came together to support Wreaths Across America with an evening full of food, fun, and live music by The Parking Lot Band. It was especially meaningful because our residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care handcrafted many of the beautiful wreaths up for auction.

Thank you to everyone who helped us support this worthy cause! ❤️

Our halls were filled with holiday cheer thanks to Villages Elementary of Lady Lake! We want to thank them for taking the time to perform their annual Christmas Holiday show for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. It is always a pleasure to welcome these talented students to Spanish Springs and see the joy they bring to our community! 🎄🎅

The Villages is constantly expanding, and our residents always want to be part of the action! 🏗️

We took a scouting trip to explore the newest Town Center, Eastport, to get a first look at the progress. It was exciting to see the new recreation areas, restaurants, and views taking shape, even if they aren't quite ready for visitors just yet...

Since Eastport isn't fully open for business, we headed over to the nearby Sawgrass Grove area to finish the day with some shopping, lunch, and entertainment. We are already marking our calendars to visit Eastport during its opening week! 🛍️🍔

This year, our gratitude is built on a foundation of excellence and incredible heart.

Professionally, achieving a deficiency-free survey from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration was a massive milestone, validating the high standard of care we strive for every day. But the real headlines belonged to the people who live here. Watching our resident Sophie be featured on the Today Show for her 102nd birthday was a moment of pure joy that the whole house celebrated together.

That spirit of celebration carried us through and our Harvest Festival, but we are most proud of how our residents gave back. Packing over 50 shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child and rallying for The Longest Day proved that this community is defined by its generosity.

Thank you to everyone who helped us set the standard this year. Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂💙

Our recent Memory Care renovation has given us new opportunities to create both physical and edible art! Our residents have enjoyed working not only within Memory Care but also alongside our Assisted Living neighbors. Also, a big thank you goes to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation for sponsoring an art project this month.

Fall foods and art are bringing color and joy to our Artful Expressions program, and we love seeing the creativity take shape together. Stay tuned to see what we make next! 🎨🍂
