Our office was busy putting up the holiday décor this week, and there was one ornament we knew had to be placed front and center.

Rosemary, mother of our owner Peg, is the heart behind Visiting Angels The Villages. She’s the inspiration, the motivation, and the steady thread running through the story of this company. Anyone who knew her lights up when they talk about her. They describe someone powerful, funny, and absolutely essential to her family.

Peg treasures her mother’s cooking, her quick wit, and the countless small moments that kept their family grounded and whole. And of course, who could ever forget Rosemary’s iconic line: “I’m taking the goldfish on a walk.”

Honoring her in our holiday décor feels like honoring the spirit that guides us every day. 🪽

Visiting Angels, together with El Shaddai Praise Ministries has completed our Jamaica Relief Drive, and the response has been incredible. Our caregivers, families, and community came together with heartfelt generosity, donating essential items for those affected by Hurricane Melissa. Many families in Jamaica have been left with nothing, and these supplies will make a meaningful difference.

A special thank-you to Sharon, one of our wonderful caregivers and a pastor at El Shaddai Praise Ministries. She will be personally delivering all of the donations directly to those in Jamaica.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love from our community. Your kindness will reach far beyond what we can see, and the families in Jamaica will feel the impact more than we will ever know.

Thank you for standing with us and spreading hope where it’s needed most.

We invite our staff, clients, and community to open their hands and hearts to support those affected by the recent natural disaster in Jamaica. Many individuals and families are facing significant hardship, and together we can help provide relief during this difficult time.

We will be collecting essential items for members of the general public who are in need. Donations will be accepted starting Monday, November 17, and the final day to contribute will be Tuesday, November 25.

Suggested Donation Items:

Sanitary wipes, diapers, clothing, bed sheets and covers, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, kitchen utensils, zinc, tents, sleeping bags, flashlights, basic school supplies, bottled water, batteries, lanterns, gloves, rain gear, shoes, non-perishable food items, bug repellent, disposable masks, and other similar essentials.

Your generosity can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for supporting us in our efforts.

Happy Monday! Last week, we had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween with the residents of Pebble Springs. We enjoyed visiting each game station, sharing smiles, and connecting with everyone. 🎃🍭🎠🎳🎟🍿
A special highlight was their beautiful Wall of Honor — a heartfelt tribute to the many residents who have served our country. It was truly touching to see a familiar face among them.

We’re honored to spotlight Rich Bartolo 👨‍✈️ , a Vietnam-War veteran whose dedication to our country inspires us every day. At Visiting Angels The Villages , it’s a privilege to provide care and support worthy of his service — because veterans don’t just deserve our thanks,
they deserve our very best. 🇺🇸✨
