Today we celebrated a very special birthday for Ms. Geraldine B! 🎉 She enjoyed her big day surrounded by love, laughter, and the company of her family and friends right here at the facility. Moments like these are what make our community feel like home. 💕

We also want to give a big shoutout to all of our wonderful residents celebrating birthdays in the month of March—your lives bring so much joy to ours! 🎂💐

To make the celebration even more memorable, we were honored to have Grammy Award-winning artist Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band Official Site join us and fill the room with incredible music that had everyone smiling, clapping, and dancing along! 🎶

Lauren McCraine has recently been appointed the Administrator at Courtyard Manor Nurse Care Center in Lafayette. Lauren is a 21 year veteran of The Therapy Center team and has served in a variety of roles including staff Occupational Therapist, Mentor, and Point Person for Courtyard Assisted Living. Lauren received her administrator license in 2024 and has served Bayou Chateau and Tr-Community Nursing Homes as Administrator prior to settling closer to home at Courtyard. Lauren is well loved in the Lafayette region have spent many years serving the therapy departments. Lauren is a servant leader who is always willing to do more than is asked of her and she is a pioneer among our team members as the first therapist in our area to become a licensed nursing home administrator. Lauren has done an excellent job combining her plethora of functional patient care knowledge with the rules and regulations of the state and governmental agencies to create an environment that thrives for patients, staff, and business owners.

Our residents had such a wonderful time yesterday enjoying the car show and cooling off with Kona Ice snowballs! 🚗🍧 Smiles, sweet treats, and great company made for a perfect day.

A special thank you to Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living Community for inviting us to join in the fun. We truly appreciate the opportunity for our residents to come together and enjoy such a great event with everyone!
