With past experience playing professional soccer, working for six years as a high school Physical Education teacher in New York City, and being a multi-instrumentalist in numerous bands, I decided to add massage therapist and movement coach to my skill set. A calf injury forced me to seek physical therapy which sparked an interest in the profession of physical health and wellness -- proving that injury is always an opportunity for change and growth. I studied both western and eastern modalities of therapy to form an integrative approach to my treatment. I graduated from the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy with a certification in Prenatal Massage, and am CranioSacral Therapy certified through the Upledger Institute. I trained in Chinese Medical Massage, Qigong & Tai Chi through NATSTA, and am a certified Thai massage practitioner from the Nuad-Bo Rarn School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since 2010 I have practiced at an integrative Physical Therapy clinic in Manhattan where I treat skilled athletes and desk jockeys with manual therapy and therapeutic movement. My goal for a client is not only to assist them in rehabilitating an injury or relaxation but ultimately to help develop a more in-depth awareness of the body and mind in order to lead an overall healthier and happier lifestyle.

I uses a combo of assisted stretching, breath cueing, joint mobilization, and deep body awareness to unlock what’s tight and support what’s tired.
