It's been a long day for us..
BUT we would like to wish our miracle baby boy, Brayden, a VERY Happy 4th Birthday!
We were told so many things before Brayden was born and throughout these past 4 years! Despite it all, our son has never gave up and decided to prove everyone WRONG in so many ways! Brayden is here today fighting the hard, long fight!
Brayden is so funny, sweet, smart, and amazing in every way possible! Every day we get to spend with him is a blessing and we're counting on spending a lifetime with him💚❤️💚

So sorry for this late update; just realized I had never update TeamBrayden!
Transplant was canceled July 19th due to Brayden testing positive for rhino virus!
As of Friday; Transplant has been rescheduled for September 27th. Brayden will be quarantined weeks upon transplant date (THIS TIME)! Brayden will not be able to start school until January 1st, as of now! But we spoke to the school board and they have agreed to save his spot for school and allow him to start the on the first on 2024! We are super excited about this news, because of how excited Brayden is to start school. 😍💚❤️💚

We made to the Ronald McDonald house Sunday night; We took bray to the aquarium and insectarium yesterday to have some fun before being admitted! Today we are waiting for Bray to be admitted at 1pm. We are nervous & excited all at the same time! We need lots of prayers for Brayden & his AMAZING DONOR Sonya Carrier💚❤️💚

Brayden Zorn was supposed to get a kidney transplant back in May, but it was put on hold. The little boy is heading back to New Orleans for another shot at getting that kidney on July 19th.

Update:
After trying lasix, Brayden's potassium refused to go down. Neuphrology finally stepped in and decided to increase his dose of lasix and add kayeaxalate yesterday. After a long night of waiting to see if the medicine was a success, we woke up this morning to some GREAT news! Brayden's potassium levels dropped to normal and the doctor decided Brayden could go HOME! Brayden will have to stay on this new med (kayeaxalate) and we will recheck his labs next Wednesday! His respiratory issues have improved and he's doing AMAZING!
Thank you all for all of the prayers and support through this time; everyone's prayers worked!
We are headed home with all of our sweet boys❤️
