No audio necessary. This past weekend, I was a lone father of two while my wife went away on a girls trip for a friend’s birthday. Therefore, while my daughter’s usually have soccer practice on different days, I had to bring both of them to soccer practice. While my older one was practicing, I surprised my younger one by throwing her bicycle in the bed of my truck along with my skateboard from college. It’s been a long time, but I’ve still got it…. Except for that last frame, of course. 😂 I still landed on my feet. This is your reminder to always be the FUN DAD.

One cannot pour from an empty cup. You must first love yourself before you can love others. Satisfying your needs and having a little bit of “me time“ is critical to healthy relationships and leading a healthy household. As a spouse, parent, and business owner, it is difficult to find time, but that 5 AM hour has become my best friend. I also know that on the days that my daughters have soccer practice, I can spend one hour to myself completing a run. It also goes beyond the workouts. Diet, reading, any personal hobby, these are all things that you can do to satisfy and fulfill your personal needs. Whatever is necessary to yield the best version of yourself, find time to do that. Even if it’s only 20–30 minutes, it can make a huge difference. Your family deserves you at 100%, and so do you. 🫵🏼
