Acadiana Needs-New Iberia

This last Monday we went on an adventure. We went to a new place and got to bless a different area of New Iberia.
And we got to play and bless a large group of children that were very grateful for their sweets. I love days like that. And the smothered chicken cooked by Michelle Cloteaux and family brought happiness to a family reminding them of their grandma's cooking ! Blessings and God's love and lots of kindness go a long way.

We are stronger together ! Together we can make a difference !

Acadiana Needs-New Iberia

Sometimes we forget the simplest kind gestures often change a person's day for the better.
Sometimes it's OK to go off the schedule. Those are the times that fill my heart the most.
Yesterday I got to meet the most precious child all because a special lady made a phone call trusting I could help her help someone. Something as simple as how was your day and here is some sweets for you prompted a I can go to church with you from that sweet boy. My response was of course you can sit next to me ! I said let's pray and he said I want to pray too!
There are still people that care and want to help each other !
We are stronger together ! Together we can make a difference !

We are trying a new thing . We been partnering with Boys and Girls Club Iberia Parish (Pershing & West End ). We love being able to provide and love on the kids and their families! These are becoming my favorite weeks.

What an amazing weekend of ministry with Acadiana Needs! 🙌

We are so thankful for every volunteer, every donor, and every person who showed up to serve. This weekend we were able to share meals, clothes, prayer, and the love of Jesus with so many people in our community. Lives are being touched, hope is being restored, and we continue to see God move in powerful ways.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about meeting physical needs — it’s about reminding people that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

To everyone who cooked, packed meals, prayed with people, donated items, or simply showed up with a willing heart — thank you. You are part of the mission.

🌙 LAFAYETTE NIGHT ROUTE UPDATE 🌙

What an incredible night serving our community! God showed up in a powerful way through the hands and hearts of so many people.

Tonight we were able to serve:
🍽️ 200 hot meals
👕 6 tubs of clothing
🎒 50 backpacks filled with t-shirts and water bottles generously provided by Louisiana Adult and Teen Challenge
🍞 Bread, sweets, fresh produce, and milk from our amazing partners at Westsidefoodpantrylafayette

A special thank you to the BlackHawk Datacom Cook Team for cooking up their famous jambalaya tonight. It’s always a hit and such a blessing to everyone we serve! 🍲🔥

But beyond the meals and supplies, the most important moments were the conversations and prayers.

🙏 Three people are potentially going into treatment this upcoming week. Please join us in praying that God will continue to give them the courage and strength to step into freedom from addiction.

This is what it’s all about — loving people, meeting needs, and believing that God can change any life.

Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who helps make nights like this possible.

🔥 LAFAYETTE DAY ROUTE 🔥

What a beautiful day serving our community! Today on the Lafayette Day Route, we were able to give out 50 hot meals thanks to the generous support from Kham Koon Thai Restaurant that helped provide the food. We are so grateful for businesses in our community that partner with us to love people well. 🍛❤️

But the most powerful part of today wasn’t just the meals… it was what God did in people’s hearts.

🙏 1 Rededication to the Lord
⛓️ 1 Prayer for Deliverance

This is why we go. This is why we serve. This is why we show up week after week.

God is moving on the streets of Lafayette, and we are honored to be His hands and feet. Lives are being touched, hope is being restored, and the love of Jesus is reaching people right where they are.

🚨 URGENT NEED – LET’S HELP THIS MAMA GET HOME 🚨

We have a single mom with 9 children who has been believing God for a miracle — and He provided a home for them in New Iberia! 🙌

The only problem right now is they don’t have the gas money to get there from Lafayette.

Sometimes the miracle comes in stages. God opened the door to the house… and now we get to be the hands and feet that help them walk through it. ❤️

If you feel led to help, even a small amount for gas would make a big difference and help this family get to the home God has provided.
