Dana Gregory, 63, of Lafayette, IN, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Franciscan Health Hospital.
Dana was born March 27, 1962, in Lafayette, IN, to William Gregory and the late Betty (Hummel) Gregory. Dana was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. He worked in the family business Gregory and Sons for over 38 years.
On September 21, 1985 he married Monica Williams. They later divorced.
Dana was a member of the Navy Club and AARP. He enjoyed socializing at the Navy Club, the 40 & 8 and CJ’s. He was a wonderful cook and great artist.
Surviving are his children: David Hicks, Christopher Williams and Sheena LaMar;
father: William Gregory and stepmother: Denise Gregory; step brother: Shane (Shelly) Bowers; cousin: Jimmy Gregory;
11 grandchildren: Zander, Gavin, Riley, and Ronin Hicks, Ruby and Vera Williams, Gideon Clendenen, Juliette and Welles LaMar, and Elenore and Gwindolyn Boaz; and great-grandchild: Zadie Hicks.
He is preceded in passing by his mother, Betty Gregory, daughter, Samantha Gregory and brothers, Chris Gregory and Billy Gregory.
A Celebration of Dana’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 3pm – 6pm at the Navy Club 1905 Elmwood Ave Lafayette, IN .
