Allowing myself to slow down and see what I am grateful for is hard at first with every step of showing myself gratitude in my life it becomes easier to keep awareness

The reason it’s so hard sometimes is bc I forget I’m not living in my past and have stepped back into bitterness and fear of loss from when I was my past self

Dear past self ,

You are loved
You are safe
You are happy
You are supported
You are wanted and needed

I’ve got your hand and we are walking this world together without fear of losing what no longer serves us. We no longer romanticize the hurt we have endured. We find ourselves comfortable in our happiness and joy

We see our wins and allow ourselves to see even when things get hard that no problem we face is hard because we never quit on ourselves

We are our best provider

We are able to have the life we desire for ourself and our children

We are breaking the chain as these beautiful souls our children grow and helping them grow into their best selves
