Clients often come into therapy hoping for a quick fix, a linear path, and positive trajectory. But, the truth is, healing involves ups (breakthroughs!), downs (setbacks!), curves, twists, and slow climbs (the hard, quiet work). It is rarely quick, rarely linear, and involves ALL the feelings (easy, hard, and otherwise).

If your mind feels like a marathon runner today, please pause. Anxiety is not a character flaw; it’s a signal from an overwhelmed nervous system asking for help.

Remember these 3 things:

-You are safe in this moment. Look around. Identify where you are.
-Your thoughts are not commands. You can hear a worry without obeying it.
-You have survived 100% of your hardest days. You are resilient.
